The coolest

Yay, I got a new dress from Motel and I love it! Monochrome and cool. It's super comfy, it's a shirt dress. I paired it with leggings and of course high socks, it's more "Krown-ish". I put on this green trench, a pop of colour never killed nobody. The look is completed with a pair of old school glasses from Firmoo that make this outfit look fresh and interesting.

 Dress: MOTEL ROCKS
Shirt: Vero Moda
Trench: vintage
Socks: H&M
Chunky heels: Humanic

When I got an opportunity to pick a pair of Firmoo's glasses I jumped into ordering these ones because they're really different and I LOVE the fact they aren't "popular". They match any outfit and they're still interesting because of its vintage masculine vibe.

Magical December

It's already the second advent weekend, another year will past unbelievably fast. I'm such a lucky girl to be surrounded by my dearest ones: family and friends. I don't need any special presents. I don't expect any (even though it's in our tradition to share some gifts). I'm happy with a glass of mulled wine, some good vegan food, nice candles, evening walks (Ljubljana is so beautiful!), warm blankets, with hugs, kisses and smiles. I could say I really enjoy this time in little moments.

But my wishlist is veeeery long, I couldn't squeeze my wishlist into just one post haha. This time I'm sharing with you some New Year's Eve outfits:

PS: Motel sends your package in up to 5 working days, so your perfect dress for these holidays will come early enough, and they have 25% off Party picks at the time. Hurry up!

My latest favourite print combo:

NOT CENSORED: Guadalupe #3

Warning- this post contains pictures of natural state of human body. If you feel ashamed or uncomfortable, this is the right time to close your eyes. :D

I really wanted to write a post expressing my feelings towards body hair on women. In Slovenia it's quite a sensitive topic but that's just what motivated me to share it all with you. I have no intention of convincing you to love it, I'll just show you my point of view and let you think what you want.

I'll tell you a short story. Since I was in elementary school I've been shaving my armpits, like all other girls. I never asked myself why I was doing that or why I wouldn't. It was a part of growing up, it came into my life as easy as when I bought my first lipstick. A year ago I started following some interesting Instagram accounts like Charlie Barker and Asher Britton. Of course, I also saw their photos containing unshaved armpits, which they shamelessly show. My reaction then was: "What?!  Why are they doing that, that's gross, they surely smell bad and provoke negative comments."
Classical reaction. But you know, the older you are, the wiser you get. And after following them, watching new age women's posts and reading their comments on that I finally understood it all.

If you're a lady passionately using Veet, it's fine. If you don't shave at all, it's fine. It's not even something that others could comment on or at least their opinion is irrelevant.

I've written about gender stereotyping and differences before in THIS pro-feminist post. We have a huge problem with our perception of being approved by society and fitting into boxes labelled #perfect and #approved. We live in 21st century. Women are supposed to have same legal rights as men. But in practice you can tell there are huge differences. From censoring female nipples to disapproving body hair. Honeys, it's again for one reason: to control all the sheep and sell them shit.

Lately, beard trend is taking over the world. Women embraced so quick. Now, it's time for girls to do what they want too. And if you think I'm promoting natural state of body, monkey bodies, Tarzan ladies etc. you're wrong. I obviously dye my hair, have a tattoo and wear tons of makeup.

SO WHY THE HELL DOES SHE HAVE UNDERARM HAIR?
Just for one reason- I find it pretty.
In the future I want to dye it pink. :3

Let's clear some myths:

-It's inappropriate: Babe, it's the body you were born in. So, if you aren't ashamed of your hands, chin, eyebrows, knees,... why would you be ashamed of that?! Regarding being appropriate for internet- if men are easily uploading unshaved armpits why wouldn't I.

-It's unhygienic: If you shower at least once a day and normally use antiperspirants/deodorants, don't be afraid, you won't stink. Chill. Hygiene means taking care of your body in terms of keeping it clean. Hair isn't clean? So why then are men's beards accepted?

-It's not attractive: Sorry, I'm not even trying to be attractive to you. Reading comments on my Instagram under two photos exposing my armpits I'm asking myself why there are people who actually think that I should be acceptable for them. So funny, because self-called beauty specialists aren't even a bit important to me. Sorry guys, no offence but it's silly. This requirement for women pleasing men is completely out and ridiculous. I rather please my inner wishes. #sorrynotsorry

It’s time to ask yourself just what you find so offensive.. Why it makes you so uncomfortable. What aspect seems unattractive, why?

I <3 neat underarm hair and in near future I'm not planning on shaving them. But let's stay opened for all the options.

My final thought is: Define your own beauty ideals and think with your own brains.:)
I hope this post will inspire you to break free in whatever terms of meaning.

Activate yourself: Guadalupe #2

To keep you updated, my life is a beautiful mess :D. Now I have a new blog partner, as you probably read on my Instagram (@agneskrown) and Facebook page. I'm lucky to introduce you coloured contact lenses from Moje-lece.si. I'll write a whole post explaining you everything you need to know about them. I'm regularly attending social events but still doing a lot for school.

Recently my friend told about Coursera, an educational platform where you can learn from renowned professors, watch high quality lectures online, achieve mastery via interactive assignments, and collaborate with a global community of students for FREE. I've always been self-initiative and curious and as I'm dying to study fashion any time soon (it's my last year of secondary school) I realized that I cannot count just on conventional education. It's time I did something! I found a brilliant way to discover fashion business and the whole industry.

So which course do I do and how do I study there?
I registered in Coursera and enrolled for Managing Fashion and Luxury course. The programme takes 6-8h per week, 5 weeks. There are around 10 video lectures to watch each week and some quizzes to do after each week, it's like a short test, because this particular course provides a certificate. It started October 3rd, so if you want to join you must be quick. So, the work is individual and you can do it whenever you want, just the final exams are on certain dates. If you're interested in any other field, there are hundreds of courses you can take. Now I spend hours and hours educating myself, it's so much fun that I did 2 weeks material in only few days. :)

Ask, believe, receive: Guadalupe #1

Thank you The Universe.
If you wish, you can replace this naming with whatever suits you: God, Love, Nature, Life, Sun,... it doesn't really matter. People keep asking me all the time how come I be so happy or am I faking it?
No, I am happy. It's simple, I decided to be happy and to look at the bright side. Sorry guys, no tricks, no secret millionaire parents, no perfect relationships, no walk in closet, no pet, no private jet, no perfect body. At some point it's enough to stop for a second and be grateful with exactly what you have for now, because who knows how long we are going to live here. The idea is to create the best by cosmic attraction. Holy cow, what does that even mean? So simple. Your thoughts are reality. Ever thought that you attract all this negativity in your life? That's right. So first, you've got to change your pattern of thinking. Consciously. And than good things just come, no pain. Maybe start reading The Secret, it's a really simple book for starting this thing and later swap for Louise Hay and other ones. I can write a list of books I recommend if you are interested in it.
Ask, believe, receive (+be grateful).

And I'm super grateful for Motel Rocks. I'll show you in this and two posts following how I would style this bikini top in Guadalupe.

Motel Rocks and so do I

Haha, not kidding with that title. I'm not being narcissistic, I'm just adding positive affirmations wherever I can. :D
I've been thinking about how I have changed and grown spiritually. A year ago I would't dare to say that I like myself in public. But why, right? Let's say that it's expected to be somehow unsatisfied with yourself. "Bitch, I have more issues than Vogue", "Nobody's perfect", "Nothing tastes as good as skinny feels", "Real women have curves", "Real men don't shave" etc. I'm literally sick of it. All these unnecessary expressions that describe a perfect woman/man and the ones which are unwanted such as "saggy boobs", "skin and bones", "bootiful",...

There are two types of people who support this madness:
a) Media
b) People who lack confidence and self respect

Media
The concept is so easy to understand. We are very happy at first but then at the age of 7 let's say we are faced with the truth that our body is changing. Suddenly, someone expects from us to be "neat" and to wear bras, shave, use special makeup products to hide all of our ugliness and to correct this catastrophe we're turning into. They teach us to be unhappy just for one reason. They want to sell us products. From anti-wrinkle creams, anti-cellulite lotions, food supplements for muscles and hair, diet pills, razors. Since we're just naive kids they're raising us up in their values to become a loyal customer in future.

People who lack confidence and self respect
We're not the same. But we all want to be happy and completed. Unfortunately many of them choose a wrong tool to achieve that. Instead on focusing on themselves, finding the reason of negative emotions within themselves they blame others. Some think that if they comment on your appearance it says it all about yourself, but it's not true at all. We are reflecting what we think of ourselves in inside to others. Relationships with others define how we treat ourselves. You know the book No Exit by Sartre? He says that hell is not a place, it's people around us. It's right. The problems we have with ourselves manifest in others around, so we are facing the consequences all the time. That's why you hear "She's too skinny/fat." "Go shave your armpits" (Btw, I won't shave them, lol. I think it's beautiful.) "Why do you look so boyish" "Act like a woman" "Girls don't like thin guys" and more nonsense of this kind.

We've all been in position of judging others, maybe even without saying it out loud. But admit it, you've done that. And now I shocked you and you feel ashamed of doing it. So, here come your actions. Take some time for yourself to find out what you truly believe in, who are you, why do you like something or not, why are you feeling the way you do. Give compliments, be kind, opened, understanding. People will do that back to you. That's the right time to step out from this herd of sheep and stand for yourself. That's the only way to fulfilment. Spread the loveeee

I wish you all to realize how special you are and how naturally perfect you are just like that. Be proud, dare to say you ROCK.

Thank you, Motel, for sending me this super soft and comfy gorgeous playsuit, I'll be wearing it all year around. <3
