MBFW New York: SS14 favorites / report

Noon by Noor
Amazing romantic collection, inspired by nature. I just love the movement of the dresses, they are so chic and flirty. The most notable look from this collection had to be the last - a white cropped T and white & royal purple maxi skirt, covered in tiny flowers. It's all about celebrating the natural beauty, I'd say.

Nicole Miller
Feminine lady meets rebel. I would absolutely wear the whole collection! Monochrome color combinations, leather, lace, gold, lots of detailed patchwork and geometric prints are combined in pieces of art.

Ruffian
Youthful, vintage and feminine appeal. Very simple fabrics combined with lots of flowers, strong constructed elements are combined with girly peplums, collars, bows and ruffles.

Milly
Transparency and pop prints are the key of this beautiful collection. It's fierce but feminine. They combined oversized tops, midi skirts and pants which cover a lot of skin with some very transparent and short cut pieces such as bralettes, hot pantie sheer dresses, opened backs and low neck cuts for some excitement. The looks are still wearable and elegant, quite sporty too. My favorite is the last bomber jacket, it's colorful and bald but enough laid back to rock it every day.

Diane Von Furstenberg
Signature wrap dresses are inspired by 60's and safari. The collection is very wearable. And of course, I loved Naomi Campbell closing the show!

Zac Posen
The collection flatters and enhances female figure in satin, silky or chiffon. It's all about the hourglass shapes and romantic mood.

Ricardo Seco
Men collection with one woman on the runway just nailed it! Fresh designer just blew me out when I saw those amazing leather shorts, round glasses, bright blue details and 'hardcore' cuts! A big YES PLEASE!

J. Mendel
Silky, smooth, very elegant, smooth, illuminated, feminine.. I think the models look like angels. Mendel likes lots of flowers, lace, short cut skirts and dresses and the natural look, as seen before on this NYFW.

Concept Korea
Vibrant prints and futuristic whites Korean designs took over NYC! They're bald, the're very special and most of all, they truly represent modern Korea! I must admit I was very surprised and impressed by the collection(s).

Falguni and Shane Peacock
Futuristic collection speaks for itself. Embellished dresses, mesh cut outs and of course feather made the looks stand out. They don't even need any accessorizes. Maybe they aren't staple pieces but they surely make you look very special and different. I just adore it!

This season, NYFW blew me out! So many new talented designers, gorgeous looks, pretty models and new amazing trends. I just can't wait for London, Milan and Paris ones too.

I hope you enjoyed it as well, let the fashion bring us together!

Love,
Nez
