Not a mainstream beach

When a lot of people see your work, it's normal that there are some of the who dislike it. Our job is to stay real to ourselves and not change to please them. Sometimes it gets rough but what's better than loving yourself, having tough skin and not being a mainstream beach.
Last week I got an extremely important lecture from a random tourist i met: ''Do what you like to do. Seriously, only what YOU like to do.'' One life, one shot, right?

This outfit is one of my faves for sure. I got this cool pretzel street-style sweater in LWGN Streetwise in Ljubljana, it was love at first sight. Combining it with that sparkling blue skirt from Vintage Galerija and my beloved platforms I wish I could teleport myself to streets of London.

Street style

There are a lot of fashion forward cities in the world. Yes, my hometown city Ljubljana is tiny, but I've seen quite a lot of well dressed gals and boys. The problem is that they prefer to stick to the trends. I've said it before, there is no need to copy runway's trends.
Black sheep rock.

London, Milan, Paris, NYC, Tokyo,.... Ljubljana? Hopefully!
My favorite street style blog from Ljubljana is Street Editorial! Chic and professional. Check it out!

A Raincoat and I'm ready for London

London, I'm coming! If you're following me on social media (I post on FB page and Instagram daily) you'll see the updates!

I'll attend IMATS, the make-up world’s biggest gathering. It's going to be a busy few days running from Olympia hall to downtown, doing some sightseeing, meeting makeup artists from all over the world, shooting for the blog with an amazing photographer Lusha Alic and some talented young designers, attending model night out dinner at DSTRKT where I was invited to, shopping at Camden and Oxford street and having fun with other bloggers and my friends.

The journey started well, I didn't have enough space in my luggage, so I'm wearing my huge platforms for a flight. Like a lady.

How I style: NEON // transitioning weather

I decided not to shoot and write a Back-to-school outfits post because I don't really wear different outfits for going to school and free time.
But here is my new rubric: How I style! I' ll always make 3 outfits including a different trendy piece in each of them, so I'll show you my style and hopefully you'll get some more inspiration about styling it yourself.

Because it's almost the end of summer and it's getting colder every day, these outfits are also proper for transitioning weather!

Faded neon dress

I was inspired my doctors' uniforms. Chilled down with a cool beanie, messy hair and a bit dressy metallic-tip heels. Clean but messy. Logical?

Wearing:
oversized cutout dress from H&M
blouse from Giulia Galanti
black beanie
silver tip heels from New Yorker
bag from Zara

Oversized sheer neon cardigan

Simple, fun and comfy daily outfit. Love floating of the cardi and combination of bold, daring colors.

Wearing:
cardigan from H&M
cutout dress from Tally Weijl
shopper bag from Zara
shoes from Princess

Neon top

Emroidery is 'in'! And so is kimono! Combining it with studded chunky heels, dark lip, rounded plastic vintage sunnies and high waisted shorts, it makes the look unique. The cardigan makes this simple outfit more interesting.

Wearing:
top from H&M
kimono cardi from Zara
studded heels from Topshop
high waisted shorts from H&M
sunnies from vintage shop Vintage Galerija (more about this awesome shop HERE)
bag from YSL

I found a lovely vintage shop

Two weeks ago I found an amazing vintage shop- Vintage Galerija!
I was spending some time in downtown, shopping and hanging out with my friend Teya and I also decided to take a look at Vintage Galerija. It's just 50m away from the main square (Prešeren sq.), on Trubarjeva street, the right side.

When I looked around the shop, I was really amazed! They have so many unique pieces. You know, everyone can buy the same shirt from e.g. H&M, but from vintage shop, you're probably the only one in the city having that piece. Nobody can copy you :)

They have a big collection of vintage dressed, tops, blouses, jackets, coats, pants, skirts, bags, jewelry, hats, scarves and more! You can find a rare piece of top end brand vintage clothing.

I was also amazed about how nice the owner of the shop is! At first, she showed and helped me to find that suits me, later on we got in a enthusiastic chit chat about fashion and she allowed us to take some pictures.

I fell in love with Escada blazer from 80's! It looks like it's new! Teya also found a tie for her. I'll definitely visit it again soon!
When we were leaving the shop, the kind owner insisted that she wants to gift us for being so nice with this blazer and a tie, so we payed nothing for it! Like WOW, I couldn't believe it! It's my first 'bussiness' gift :) She was very interested in my blog and probably, we're collaborate for some shootings/editorial. I'll let you know when we'll have something to show.

Escada blazer I got:

Do you ever shop at vintage shops? Which one is your favorite?
